Somewhat a supergroup, Sabine Wojnar is made up of Symon Palmer (Zero Cool, Doprah), Ben Woods (Ben Woods), Ryan Chin (Ryan Fisherman, Adam Hattaway and the Haunters, Doprah), and Abi Macilquham (Horn, Fran).

Peppermint Slice was recorded in 2016 at the now in-demand studio that drummer Ryan Chin operates but the session had been shelved ever since. At one point, it was thought that the files were lost altogether during a hard-drive upgrade at the studio. Found again recently, in pristine condition, Sabine Wojnar was presented with the opportunity to release the EP as a split with Wellington slickers Zero Cool with cassette being released with Melted Ice Cream very soon!

To celebrate the release, Sabine Wojnar has composed The Perfect Peppermint Slice Cocktail recipe for consumption alongside listening:

The Perfect Peppermint Slice Cocktail

2 mint slice biscuits or 1 inch squared peppermint slice.
Keep whole.
Equal parts Fernet Branca and Vodka.
In a shaker, mix wet and dry ingredients.
Ice optional.
Shake, and pour unfiltered into your favourite vessel.
